Almond Pie Shell

1-2 cup almonds

3-4 tsp honey or maple syrup


In a food processor, chop the almonds until they are fine.

Add the maple syrup or honey, using just enough to hold the almond meal together. 

Pinch a bit of the almond meal between your fingers. If it holds its shape, it’s ready. If it crumbles, add a few more drops of syrup.

Press into a pie dish. No cooking required.

If you're worried about the crust sticking to the dish, you can lightly wipe the pie plate with a tiny bit of coconut oil before pressing the mixture in.

Cool sweet fillings before adding to crust. Makes 1 pie crust.
